Born in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tonya C. Jackson came into the world as the firstborn of Fred and Loretta Jackson — a destined daughter with a divine mandate to shift atmospheres, speak truth boldly, and ignite the Kingdom of God with light and love. Baptized at just ten years old, Tonya didn’t wait to say “yes” to God. She heard His voice early and began a lifelong journey of faith, leadership, and transformation. As a single mother, after the birth of her Son, Eddie, she rededicated her life to Jesus and hasn’t looked back since. She is the proud mother of two phenomenal sons, Eddie Jackson and Justin Smallwood, and the blessed GiGi to three precious treasures—Liam, Audrey, and Zoë.

Tonya’s journey led her to Washington, D.C., in 1984, where she built a 38-year executive career—including 20 years at Fortune 50 giant Freddie Mac and 9 years as President & CEO of Family Matters of Greater Washington. Known for merging faith with leadership, she infused every boardroom with vision, courage, and unshakable belief in God.
An honors graduate of Purdue University (B.S., Computer Technology) and George Mason University (M.S., Management Information Systems), Tonya exemplifies the divine union of intellect and prophetic insight. In 1994, a vision from God birthed Sisters of the SON Enterprises, followed by Sisters of the SON Ministries in 1997—founded with her late husband, Elder Jerry L. Smallwood—to transform lives and demonstrate God’s power worldwide.
Ordained an Apostle in 2006 under Apostle Hattie Joyce Hines, she serves as a global spiritual leader marked by wisdom, healing, deliverance, and prophetic revelation. In 2008, she launched Experience Imagine Ministries, empowering believers to think bigger, live fuller, and walk boldly in faith.
Now also an award-winning wine creator, Tonya’s Second Best Wines emerged from a divine whisper—inviting others to “taste heaven on earth.”
Her latest work and first book, B/R/E/A/K I/T, published June 2025 and commissioned by God in 2020, calls believers to shatter cycles of limitation through prayer, fasting, and bold faith.
Tonya is not just called—she’s chosen. Not just gifted—but graced. Her mission remains clear: Raise your faith. Believe God. Achieve the impossible.
